A perfectly working BOSE system is OK, but no highs, no lows posted by PLEAZURE in CA (SD) on March 03, 2005 at 05:49 PM |

My bose head unit has been dying slowly for about 2 years, turns itself off and on unpredictably. I looked into replacing it only to discover the active speakers mean you can't just swap the head. I have no interest in car audio, just want a working radio to listen to talk. And, if I go to a shop, I don't want f*ck ups screwing up the interior of my car, which is very clean. So, if anyone knows a quality car audio shop in L.A. that has trained, careful expert installers instead of cheap labor doing the job, I'd be interested.
